Building Bears Up

As a committed coach, player, family, or community member of the White Bear Lake area, it's expected that we all represent the "paw" with pride, class, and respect. Whether online, on the practice field, away or at home games, we represent something bigger than ourselves when supporting White Bear Youth Football and the colors that come with it.

We have a HUGE opportunity to model to our young players and siblings what it looks like, feels like, and sounds like to represent our community, colors, and the paw with pride. When appointing our 4th–8th grade coaches, we challenged them to encompass a mentality of "Building Bears Up" with everything they do.

We as an association encourage all parents, fans, players and staff to practice this mindset as we officially embark on this season. Let's represent the paw with respect, dignity and humility everywhere we go.

Code of Conduct Reporting Form

Any conduct infraction involving players, coaches, or parents during the season must be reported using the WBYF Code of Conduct Reporting Form — but only in situations that are serious in nature and cannot be effectively addressed by a coach at the team level. This ensures that reporting is reserved for cases requiring broader organizational oversight.

Situations to report include (but are not limited to):
Social or Emotional AbuseMalicious IntentPhysical AltercationsConflicts with OfficialsRepeated Infractions

Good Judgment — Anything coaches or families feel they can handle within their team should be handled there. Repeated or severe infractions should always be reported.
